Saint William Parish in Chicago needed a simple business website to:
- publish mass schedule online
- provide contact information
- feature photos from events
- publish information about their activities
Some of the content of the website is updated frequently. It needs to be edited by non-technical person. This presented the biggest challenge. First, I used WYSIWYG editor to supported editing. Later, I moved to more structured admin forms to avoid formatting problems. The design called for large graphical elements on the top. This caused all content to be below fold line. This issue was solved by auto-scrolling in JavaScript.
